Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026  ·  Effective immediately

The short version: JollyJerk does not require you to create an account, does not collect your name or email address, and does not record your video or audio conversations. We collect only what is technically necessary to operate the site. The full detail is below.

1. Who we are

JollyJerk (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at jollyjerk.live (the “Site”). We provide a free gay random video chat service that connects users anonymously via live video.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you do not provide

JollyJerk does not ask for, collect, or store any of the following:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Payment information
  • Social media profiles or linked accounts
  • Video or audio recordings of your chat sessions

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure may automatically collect standard server log data, which can include:

  • Your IP address (used to detect and prevent abuse)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on the Site
  • Referring URL (the page you came from)
  • Date and time of your visit

This data is collected at the server level by our hosting infrastructure and is not tied to any personal identity on our end.

Camera and microphone

Your browser requests access to your camera and microphone when you enter the chat. We do not access, capture, store, or transmit your camera or microphone data. Camera and microphone access is handled directly by your browser. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your browser settings. You can revoke camera and microphone permissions at any time through your browser settings.

3. How we use it

The limited data we collect is used only to:

  • Operate and maintain the Site
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
  • Monitor and improve site performance
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising targeting, profiling, or sale to third parties.

4. Cookies and local storage

Local storage (age verification)

When you confirm your age on the chat page, we store a small key in your browser’s localStorage (not a cookie) to remember your confirmation for the duration of your session. This value contains no personal information — it is simply a flag indicating you have confirmed you are 18 or older. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Essential cookies

We may set a minimal session cookie to maintain basic site functionality. This cookie does not track you across other websites and expires when you close your browser.

Analytics

If we use analytics tools in the future, we will update this section accordingly and, where required, seek your consent first.

Third-party cookies

Our video chat widget may use session storage to maintain your connection state during a chat session. This data is not shared with any third party and is cleared when your session ends.

5. Third-party services

Video chat

The live video chat on JollyJerk is an in-house feature. We do not access, capture, record, or store your video or audio stream at any point. What happens in your chat session stays in your chat session.

Contact form

When you submit a message through our Contact page, your submitted information (name, email address, and message) is sent to us and used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not share this information with any third party.

Web fonts

We use web fonts loaded from an external provider, which may result in your browser making a standard network request that includes your IP address. This is consistent with normal web browsing behaviour.

6. Age verification

JollyJerk is strictly an 18+ platform. Before accessing the chat, all users must confirm they are 18 years of age or older. We do not collect or store any personal information during this age confirmation process. The confirmation is stored only in your browser’s local storage as described in Section 4.

We take our age restriction seriously. If you have reason to believe a minor has accessed or is attempting to access this Site, please contact us immediately.

7. Data retention

Server log data collected by our hosting provider is typically retained for a short period (usually 30 days or less) for security and performance monitoring purposes, after which it is deleted automatically.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry.

We do not maintain long-term databases of user behaviour or activity on the Site.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • The right to access data we hold about you
  • The right to request deletion of your data
  • The right to object to or restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Given the minimal data we collect, most of these rights will be satisfied by the fact that we hold very little identifiable information about you in the first place. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

California residents (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion. Contact us to exercise these rights.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Our lawful basis for processing the limited data we collect is legitimate interests (site security and abuse prevention). You have the right to object to this processing by contacting us.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site and any data associated with it. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Site at your own risk.

We strongly advise you not to share personal information (such as your real name, address, phone number, or financial details) with anyone you meet through the chat service.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Contact us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please reach out via our Contact page.

We aim to respond to all privacy-related enquiries within 5 business days.
